The Virtual New Testament app is a digital re-creation of first-century Jerusalem. It’s purpose is to enhance your scripture study by allowing you to experience the city, immerse yourself in the world of Jesus’ mortal ministry, and engage with various objects in that setting.

Experience the temple by walking through the courtyards, the sanctuary, and the Holy of Holies. Virtually stand where Jesus taught, where Mary and Joseph worshipped, and explore the places where the priests performed their appointed duties.

Privacy Policy

The LDS Motion Picture Studio, in collaboration with BYU Virtual Scriptures Group, built the Virtual New Testament app. This app is provided by Brigham Young University at no cost, with no advertisements, and no in-app purchases. We are not seeking to make money with this app. It is intended for personal benefit as a Bible study aid. Due to the free nature of this app, please be patient with us on future bug fixes and updates.

This page is used to inform visitors that we do NOT collect, use, or disclose any personal Information from anyone who uses our app.

Information Collection and Use

This application does NOT actively collect user data or id for 3rd party use. The ONLY information the application collects is the system operating system type, device model, and device type ONLY when the user clicks on feedback email, which is to help diagnose any problems that may arise. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy. Android and Google Play does collect crash data information.

If you choose to use our app, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. We will not use or share any information collected with anyone.
